About Forekick

Forekick is an independent project that publishes statistical predictions for football matches across Europe’s top five leagues — the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 — and the UEFA Champions League.

How the predictions are made

Every fixture is run through a statistical model that blends two methods: an Elo rating that tracks each team’s strength from results over time, and a Poisson goals model that estimates how many goals each side is likely to score. The two are combined into win, draw and loss probabilities and a most-likely scoreline. A short written read is generated for each match to put the numbers into plain language.

Analysis, not tips

Forekick is not a tipster. We do not sell picks, and we do not claim an edge over the bookmakers. What the model produces is an honest read of what the numbers say — shown with its probabilities, never dressed up as a certainty.

Because of that, every prediction the model makes is recorded and scored against the real result on the Track record page — hits and misses alike, in the open. Nothing on Forekick is betting advice.

Who’s behind it

Forekick is built and run by an independent developer as a single-person project. It is not affiliated with any league, club, broadcaster or bookmaker.
